SteadfastIT was founded in 2018 by James Harrow, a former head of IT operations who had spent fifteen years inside professional services and financial services firms watching the same problems repeat: support tickets that never closed cleanly, identity sprawl after every acquisition, security controls that existed on paper but not in production, and AI pilots that were started without ever being governed.
The firm was set up around a simple operating principle — that most IT failures are operational, not technical, and that a small senior team with named ownership of every service line will outperform a large faceless service desk every time.
Today SteadfastIT supports UK organisations across professional services, manufacturing and financial services, typically between fifty and five hundred staff, from offices in London and Manchester.
